You are invited to come and visit the museum where visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history of the Australian Light Horse and the 18th Century Heritage Schmidt Farmhouse. Our museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of the brave soldiers and their loyal horses who served in the Australian Military and local Mudgeeraba Heritage.

 

Come and explore our exhibitions to learn about the significant role played by the Light Horse regiments in shaping Australia's history and explore the Heritage Farmhouse and Grounds.

Public entry is free but donations are warmly appreciated to help with the upkeep of the museum and delivery of school educational programmes.

entrance located on Mudgeeraba Road.  Turn left after entering the

Showgrounds and you will see the Museum complex.
